A selection of titles from our back catalogue + those distributed by your mates here @ Brachliegen...

Brachliegen Organic Tote Bag (100% Cotton, 160 GSM) £8 (Brachliegen Tapes

Black tote bag, with eco-friendly screen printed Brachliegen Tapes logo manufactured by Vino Sagre. These are heavy duty high quality 160 gsm bags. Long handles with a reinforced cross stitch and a top edge double folded for strength and clean finish. As we say here at Brachliegen: 'heavier than the death of the labour party'.

Tom Betteridge - Pearly (Cassette) £7 (Brachliegen Tapes)

PEARLY is a fizzing, hallucinatory noise release from TOM BETTERIDGE, consisting of two oleaginous sound poems, entirely improvised with minimal stitching and post-processing. Phantasmatic vocal improvisations are mulched into something oblique to speech, becoming sharded utterances part-lost in swathes of noise.

Heavy Cloud - Scree (Cassette) £7 (Brachliegen Tapes)

SCREE is two heaving slabs of feral tone from HEAVY CLOUD, inspired by the immense natural forces at work on the Cornish coastline. Tidal waves and searing sunlight batter and erode, crack and burn the ever shifting topography of the country’s precarious fringe over 21 minutes of processed heavy electronics. SCREE is a pair of noise ‘landscrapes’ in-spirited by the Cornish coastline, formed over time from eroding loops and voices, processed field recordings and found sounds.

SAKOSTAMU - Break Down (Cassette) £7 (Brachliegen Tapes)

Brachliegen are proud to present BREAK DOWN, the first release from SAKOSTAMU, the collaborative project of Vasilis Sakkos (Casual Nun) and Tasos Stamou. The pair layer chanting vocal groans, wandering bells, weaving drones and haunting plucked strings through a four track tape recorder; this ritualised process builds a rich textual palette, burrowing deep to create a den of sonic transcendence, a place where shared cultural histories and individual wounds are broken down and confronted.

Circuit Wound - Involuntary Ruination (Cassette) £8 (Cipher Productions)

Oh this is fun. Two Circuit Wound live sets captured in all their room-shaking glory, pure punishing electronics with full room ambience. Jay Howard has been terrorising the surrounds of Los Angeles for over 20 years, and 'Involuntary Ruination' is the outcome should you meet up one late night. Stickered silver tapes with an oversized cover and show flyers, all sealed up in a vellum envelope. Edition of 50 copies.

NoDolby - 'Exhaustion/Consumption' (Cassette) £8 (Cipher Productions)

Earthen drone and slow electronics machinations from this careful Italian soundcraftsman. 'Exhaustion/Consumption' rises into tempest from humble beginnings, crafted from both tangible and ethereal but all coursing through its creator. Edition of 50 copies, collage artwork by the fantastic Paul van Trigt adorning a metal tin, the tape wrapped in tissue paper.

Body Stress - The Silence Hurts The Most (Vinyl, LP) £18 (Cipher Productions)

LP issue of Body Stress' final work, previously found on an absurdly limited 4 x C-10 set released by Moral Defeat. The intentionally short tracks further fragment Body Stress' already disruptive harsh noise style, a fierce high-end focus forged through cruelly treated electronics, indecipherable sound source abuse, and libidinous fury. Edition of 100 copies with collage artwork tweaked from the cassette edition.

Earthen - A Cold Spring Sampler (2CD Comp) £3 (COLD SPRING)

29 tracks - including an EXCLUSIVE unheard track from COIL. An unrivalled collection of Industrial, Esoteric, Dark Ambient, Ritual, Drone, Power Electronics, Doom, Death Industrial, Experimental, Torch Songs, Electronica. Unearth the world of Cold Spring!
